Advanced Singles League – 2017 – Season 2 – 501 Nationals/ADO All-Stars

This season we are playing for entry into the ADO 501 National Championship and ADO East/West All-Stars competition. The national qualifier will be held on May 19th at the Oregon Open at Portland Meadows Horsetrack in Portland, Oregon. The 501 Championship will be held at the USA Classic in Stamford, CT on August 4th, 2017.

League Format

  • Modified Round Robin Format or Double elimination depending on turnout
  • Matches are 501 Single In, Double Out.
  • Record all 180s, 100+ outs, 15-dart legs

  • Location: Coopers Alehouse (8065 Lake City Way NE, Seattle, WA 98115, 206-522-2923)
  • Entry Fee: $10 (100% paid back each week)
  • League Fee: $15 one time league fee (due second time you play)
  • Signups open: 7:00pm
  • Play starts: 7:30pm

Match Format
Matches are calibrated against player count so that each player plays about 15 total legs per session

  • Toss a coin to see who corks first for leg one.
  • Must hit a bull to win the cork (aka, in it to win it).
  • Winner of the cork starts the first leg and all odd legs, except the final leg. Loser of the cork starts all even legs.
  • If you reach the final leg, cork again with the loser of the initial flip corking first.
  • For 4 or fewer players play 5 legs, Round Robin
  • For 5 players play best of 5 legs, Round Robin
  • For 6 players play 3 legs, Round Robin
  • For 7 or players play best of 3 legs, Round Robin
  • For 8 players play 2 legs, Round Robin
  • For 9 or more players play best of 3 legs, Double Elimination.

  • Match Format: 501, quarter-final best of 5 legs, semi-final best of 7, final best of 11

The qualifier will held on Friday, May 19th at the Oregon Open. Which, word on the street says, will be held on May 19-22, 2017 at Portland Meadows Racetrack in Portland, OR. National Qualifier Winners win free air fare to the National Finals in Stamford, CT and a $150 cash stipend upon arrival at the tournament.
